We had a trip booked out of season in October. A week before our trip my husband was diagnosed with cancer. I wrote to Oulala to explain and ask if we could move our trip. We had paid over £2000. I obviously said I would cover any costs that had been incurred. I sent the consultants letter to them to prove the diagnosis and also so they could see the date. They left it 3 weeks and said there’s nothing they could do so they kept all our money. I went online to try and book for the same week and they had loads of availability so obviously they wouldn’t have been to rent out our mobile home anyway. I’m sure they’ve followed the rules to the letter but their lack of empathy is astonishing. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Everything was excellent. The owners were very attentive to every detail, making sure we didn't miss anything. The motorhome was practically new and impeccably clean. It had all the necessary accessories to make the trip comfortable and worry-free. I have rented many motorhomes in Europe, but this experience has been, without a doubt, the best. I would repeat without hesitation!

We have just completed a three week rental with Oulala France Motorhome Rentals. Our experience was excellent and the Motorhome worked perfectly for us. Anthony and Richard are extremely helpful and friendly and were happy to spend time with us giving suggestions about where we may like to visit and stay. They encouraged us to keep in contact with them throughout our holiday and we knew if we had the slightest problem they would help out. We would not hesitate to rent from the company again and would definitely recommend to any would be travelers. Thanks guys. A wonderful experience from beginning to end.

We rented a motorhome for the first time from Oulala in France.The motorhome was fully equiped which made it very easy for us as we were flying in from Australia Oulala are extremely helpful and were more than happy to help out with directions, apps to use for camp places and much more. They were contactable and only willing to help for our whole journey. We have a great 2 weeks.

Our first motorhome holiday and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Beautiful motorhome, perfect for our 2 weeks around France, Switzerland and Italy. It came with everything we needed, in fantastic condition and excellent presentation, and the owners were just a call or message away when we needed any help.We had a couple of hiccups with our travel plans and the owners were so friendly and helpful and booked us a last minute local site for our first night (which was excellent!). They also helped with booking a short notice vets appointment with the local clinic to get our dog’s worming tablets for the return journey back to the UK. Super helpful and took so much stress out of the situation.We’re converted and already planning our next touring holiday! Can’t recommend these guys highly enough 😊

My wife and I spent a fabulous time with our adult aged granddaughters for two weeks in France. Our purpose was to pre-follow the route of some of the stages of the Tour de France and enjoy the country. Anthony at Oulala set us up a year in advance. He was very attentive to our many questions throughout the year leading up to our rental. We rented the A72 above cab sleeping and bunk beds in the rear. It worked well for me to take the upper bunk and our granddaughters took the above cabin. We had a great time and kept moving. We only spent one night at each campsite so we got really good setting up and breaking down.The review process was taken care of by Richard. The hands on instruction of all operations was fast so I recommend recording it on your device while the another listens intently. The paperwork was not too bad either. I had forgotten that rentals require a hold (not a charge) on our credit card, but the $4,000.00 Euros surprised me. We took care of that on a card that had room and used another for travel expenses. Also, they offered us additional insurance that covers the $4,000 deductible. I chose to take it at a very reasonable $120 Euros. Turned out it was a good thing because I did cause some minor damage to the motorhome when the streets got too narrow and there was no backing out. The insurance covered it and all is well - except that Oulala was out a great motorhome for the time it took to repair it.I enjoyed driving the manual transmission motorhome as we toured southern France, into the Pyrenees, up the Mediterranean coast, through Provence, and up to Switzerland/Italy at Mount Blanc, then the return to Uzerche. We prepared most our meals using the three burner stove top. The gas grill for exterior use I used once and it operated fine. The space in the refrigerator was sufficient. The power at each "Park4Night" camping spot was also sufficient (both my wife and I use CPAP machines while sleeping).My review would be 5 star but I never give 100% or 5 star reviews as I think we can all always improve. The rental was superb, and the motorhome was immaculate! My only suggestion is to make sure all clients are aware of the deposit.Thank you Oulala - we hope to rent with you again!!Charles & Sue

Despite our initial lack of experience with motorhome camping, Anthony provided thorough guidance, explaining every detail we needed to know—from what to expect at campsites to how to set up once we arrived. Thanks to his comprehensive instructions, it never felt like our first motorhome tour.Anthony and Richard went above and beyond by booking a local campsite for us to acclimate to the motorhome, and even arranged restaurant reservations to help us settle in on our first day. We owe a HUGE thanks to both Anthony and Richard for making our trip seamless and memorable!

Fabulous to deal with (polite, helpful, witty and efficient) with an immaculately maintained motorhome.We toured France and Spain for 4 weeks and the Motorhome never missed a beat, never a hint of any issue and was comfortable throughout.We went to places we would not normally have done, including quiet beaches in Southern France and Spain, the Spanish snow capped Pyrenees and numerous inland towns and villages. All in comfort with heating and air con when needed.The flexibility and ease of finding quality campsites made this a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.Thoroughly recommended👍

We wanted to hire a motorhome but having never been in one, we wanted to see them for ourselves before we committed ourselves.We contacted Anthony and Richard with our request and then arranged to meet us and showed us all the mobile homes and recommended one for us, which was perfect.They are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and made the start and end of our 10 night hire a dream, any queries were answered immediately via whatsapp when we were away and we had a wonderful time with their magnificent mobile home.If you are thinking of hiring a mobile home, then we can honestly say this is the company to hire from, they really do care about their customers and their mobile houses are outstanding.Don't hesitate book with them!!!

We definitely got lucky for our first time Motorhoming in France, the guys at Oulala were great, very welcoming and helpful.The motorhome was in great condition, and all the essentials such as fridge, hot water, toilet and shower worked perfectly. The provided gas BBQ was a great little addition which we used a couple of times, well worth having it on board as there isn't an oven and grill in the galley area inside the van.The layout of the vehicle worked really well for us, I'd recommend the Chausson 757 if you're going with small people, the rear beds mean you can still enjoy the living area after they've gone to sleep, the drop down bed is a great way to save space and means you don't have to re-arrange all the seating when it's time to go to bed.I'd recommend Oulala to anyone thinking about a Motorhome holiday in France, the service was superb and the overall holiday experience was memorable. We would definitely book again.

Having had so much going on since our trip, it's taken us a lot longer than we would've liked to write this review. We are beginners when it comes to motorhome travel, and when I say beginners, I mean we've never done this before until our experience with Oulala, and we're so grateful to have found Tony & Rich. They were so attentive leading up to and during our trip. Any queries or concerns were answered no matter what time of day/eve. Check-in and out were so easy and efficient, and we felt as though we were visiting friends being around these guys. Motorhome rental can be quite nerve-wracking, honestly, but we were always made to feel at ease. You can see the hard work you both put in and how you've built your business is commendable - your success is so deserved. We wish you all the success and happiness in the future. What a delightful experience- We were first time campers and Richard and Anthony went far and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable before we set off. These guys are great, real customer service focus.Although Covid meant we need to cancel our trip so our review is a bit limited in terms of the whole travel experience, the approach by the Oulala team has been excellent. They helped with planning, advised on scooter v's bikes, looked at good places to stay the first night as we were arriving late. Communication was always swift and clear and accommodating.We cant wait to go next year to complete our aborted trip.Well done Oulala!Well we returned in August 2022. A bit slow in posting-sorry, but what a great company to deal with. As newbie Motorhomers they talked and showed us through everything. The van was immaculate and clean and very well equipped. The guys gave us help and advice whilst we travelled and the support was brilliant. Would highly recommend to anyone. We drove down from the UK, left our car at their secure lockup which was also helpful. Just watch that awning in the wind!!Thanks so much Will and Jo.

So excited ! We have booked another holiday with oh la la , our first was just after Covid in September 2021 , we first met Richard , Anthony and there lovely French friend Silvie who if you are lucky to meet, if she has called into see them for a coffee gets you into the French relaxed mood , no more hotel holidays for us it opened our eyes to what traveling , holidays and spending quality time is all about . Never having had this type of holiday before Richard and Anthony where first class in every way in explaining how to use the Motorhome , what to look out for when entering towns and camping sites and setting up and packing up on each stop over , absolutely brilliant and caring in making sure you got the best understanding to make your holiday safe and trouble free . They where always on hand in any event, which, because of their instructions and advise for us was only talking travel and different parts of France to explore . Looking forward to meeting the Ohlala team again soon , what a fabulous service they provide , not one that you would get from any other Motorhome hire company, the attention to detail in every way and Caring for the client to experience a great holiday is second to known, which I cannot wait to enjoy again .

Our 2nd time booking with Oulala, they were totally fabulous, they explained everything completely, there is lots to take in hiring a motorhome but if you have a problem remembering everything take notes as Richard and Anthony explain in great detail how the motorhome works and how to avoid unnecessary accidents, especially as most people are not use to driving large vehicles it’s important to listen to their expertise as they have driven motor homes for many years. We have already booked our 3rd trip with them. Their expertise helping us plan our journey has been the best help that could be asked for. The motorhome was spotless again, thank you guys, looking forward to our next adventure 🥂🍷xx

Beware of hidden fake charges and misleading insurance/claims!We emailed this company and requested a quote for 10 days Motorhome hire including fully comprehensive insurance, they confirmed their insurance was fully comprehensive.To our surprise only on arrival The Rental Agreement/Terms and conditions were given to us the rental agreement stated, “The rental motor home is insured against third party vehicles and property”. Totally contradicting their email & website!Also on initial booking there was no mention of a security deposit to be paid on arrival and we had to reluctantly sign the agreement and pay the 2500.00 Euros to enable us to rent the motor home. (a little late then to cancel the holiday!)We were advised on how to care for the awning but were not given any long handled brush and no steps to enable us to remove any bird poo/leaves from it. On winding the awning back in a small bit of bird poo caused 2 very minute holes which they deducted 1500 Euros from our deposit (almost haf the cost of the full holiday!). We asked for proof of replacing the awning and never received it!They then charged extra cleaning fee but was returned all in good order. We were not present when they inspected the vehicle as they were so late meeting us and they had to take us back to the airport quickly or else we would have missed our flight back home. The inspection report was also not filled in, and neither did we receive a copy of it after we returned to the UK.I was injured my ankle by slipping on a loose carpet at the front of the motor home due their negligence and they didn’t give a damn.These guys come across as being really customer focused friendly but don’t be deceived! They are absolute Con Men.

Pleasure to deal with Richard & Anthony. None of the horror stories I have heard from people dealing with some other Motorhome rentals. Price quoted was what we paid, without any extras being added. 2 genuine guys with a real pride in the service and product they are providing. I could repeat all of the other positive reviews I have read here on Oulala but will instead strongly advise anyone hiring one of Oulala's Motorhomes to take the short drive after arriving to the site, booked for us by the guys, and in our case LeRanch (reviewed on trip advisor) gives you a feel for handling the Motorhome for a short journey first night and allows you to move on fresh the next morning. The guys also took us to LeRanch before going home and joined us for a drink before leaving for a meal with friends, that they were already an hour or two late for. Pleasure to socialise with Anthony & Richard, even for a short time. The Motorhome security deposit left in case of damage was cancelled and invoice for 0.00 EUR was with me within 24hrs. To replace a wing mirror if smashed will cost from 700 -1000 Euros so listen to the safety chat before you take the keys and leave, more than just tips offered here. We took and used our own Sat Nav with the driver concentrating on driving and passenger alongside directing and looking ahead using phone app. for directions also, lane movements, speed signs, and camp sites. Drive with care and avoid speeding, not only because of getting caught and fined but less room in a Motorhome to play with when someone else is speeding around a corner and your stopping distance is more than you are used too. Great experience though so have a go and enjoy your holiday.

As a first time driver it was so comforting to get plenty of top tips from Anthony and Richard, who gave an exceptional service. We hired from Anthony and Richard an ‘A’ class Motorhome after seeing them featured in a channel 4 series about starting a business abroad (they appeared to be one of the few couples who looked like they knew what they were doing!) and this stuck in my mind when three years later we wanted to hire a motorhome for a week. The van was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a fantastic week touring the Dordogne. We travelled as a family of 3 and although we previously had a caravan, Richard and Tony gave us some tips on how to drive the van which were excellent. We would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to hire a motorhome particularly if new to motor-homing as they are on hand to answer any questions during the week. We are looking forward to hiring from Richard and Anthony again next year.

We have returned from renting a motorhome from Richard & Anthony and cannot express how pleased we are.From our first contact to collecting the motorhome in Le Lonzac the service has been brilliant , they even came with us to our first site and made sure we were settled - beyond the call of duty.The motorhome was like new and with unlimited mileage allowed us to really explore France for the 28 days we had “Debbie” our motorhome nickname.Would we recommend them 100% we would - if you plan on renting a motorhome in France look no further than Oulala MotorhomeThank you guys for a great adventure

We hired the McLouis from Oulala and it didn’t disappoint. We needed the 2 beds to accommodate 2 tall people and this Motorhome worked for us. It was immaculate with really comfy beds and fitted out with quality furnishings incl a BBQ! Richard & Anthony were so helpful with suggestions of places to go etc and sending us links to various places. On our way from airport we could pop into the local supermarket for some first few days supplies. This was our first time in a Motorhome and it didn’t disappoint and we are so pleased to have been able to hire one from Oulala! Thank you both. Paula & Andy (UK) the tall people!! X

Excellent experience of hiring our first Motorhome. Modern vehicle, very well equipped, easy to drive, clean and tidy. Every requirement was catered for. If you fly in there is nothing extra you need to bring. Chairs tables BBQ utensils etc. all provided.We actually drove, and when we were running late Richard and Anthony were in touch and worked really hard to ensure that the vehicle technical and safety handover was as efficient as possible, even by booking a nearby overnight campsite stay and arranging a hearty supper. Customer service at its most thoughtful. We can’t praise them too highly. We will be back later this year and most likely next year too, if all the rave reviews don’t make them too busy.

Oulala have provided a highly professional yet friendly service to us when we hired our motorhome to make the gruelling journey back to Scotland to visit our respective elderly mothers. For medical reasons I don't travel too well and the motorhome seemed the perfect solution. We had looked at other companies and in truth Oulala blew them all out the water. The unlimited mileage gave us the peace of mind to embark on the journey. The van was very comfy and extremely well kitted out. So comfy, I elected to sleep in it even though we were at a house one night !! We were able to take our 2 dogs with us, which would have been a deal-breaker otherwise. I cannot recommend Richard and Anthony highly enough. I'm sure our mothers would thank you both too ! No doubt you'll hear from us again. x

Great guys and immaculate vehicles. Our first time with Oulala and won’t be our last. Everything we needed was supplied in the price. Vans are all nearly new and really well maintained. Having tried a Motorhome once before in Scotland, we decided this year to venture to France in the summer. Having seen Oulala on Channel 4’s “New Life In The Sun”, which gave us a sneak preview into how the company operates, we decided to give them a go. We were not disappointed, they weren’t putting on a show for the cameras and genuinely care about their customers.From initial contact for the booking, arrival at their base in Le Lonzac and final handover for our departure back home we were treated exceptionally well (bigger companies could learn a lot about proper customer service from Oulala), we were greeted with a warm welcome, offered a refreshing drink, a friendly smile and a seat. Once the paperwork and briefing were complete we were then led to the first campsite to make sure we were settled in and to answer any questions that may have come up during that first journey. Throughout the whole process we never felt rushed.The motorhome was immaculate, which is exactly the way all of their vehicles are presented. There is no limitation on mileage, so you have the freedom to go anywhere you please, and just in case you have any queries or problems Richard and Anthony are available 24/7 to help.In summary a five star service from start to finish and we can’t recommend them highly enough. If I could give Oulala 10 stars, I would! AMAZING customer experience, from start to finish.Anthony and Richard really do know how to ensure that your motor home holiday is amazing! Our camper van was absolutely spotless and immaculately presented - looked like new - and was kitted out with everything we could possibly need for our two weeks in France. The van and everything inside it is of the highest quality.When we arrived at their office, we were met with the warmest, friendliest welcome, (including a cuddle with beautiful Bella the dog!) and given a very thorough walk through of the van so that we felt totally confident as we set off ourselves. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne which was very much appreciated 🥂 Both guys were also immediately available on WhatsApp for a couple of follow up questions we had over the next couple of days. As first time ‘motor homers’ they made the experience completely stress free.The difference with Oulala is that they genuinely care about their clients - after all, the camper van is the customer’s home away from home during their time in France. The service is totally personal and that makes all the difference.Anthony and Richard both go above and beyond to ensure that their customers have the holiday experience of a lifetime. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Richard and Anthony, were the perfect host and they were always on hand to answer any question both before and during the holiday.The collection from the station was flawless, and a treat to be collected in their own Tesla.The van itself, Challenger 114 Max was perfectly presented, and so clean it looked brand new. Very high level of equipment, and a comprehensive briefing made what could have been a daunting experience seamless.100% recommendation for brilliant service and an exceptional product

We had never been camping with a motor home before, we wanted an adventure and after doing our research online we came across Oulala. From start to finish they were so friendly and professional. Richard and Antony help guide us through routes, activities and have us tips on camping sites there knowledge was great.We had a good amount of time checking in and going around the motor home to make sure we knew exactly what everything did.Oulala made our camping trip fun and safe.We will be booking again next year with themTom and Alex

We live in France and decided to hire a van before potentially buying one. Oola la were extremely helpful and friendly from our initial phone call and throughout our rental experience with them. I can not recommend them highly enough.The van was like new and spotlessly clean. Plus it included everything you would need for a camping car holiday. The guys were there at the end of the phone if you had a problem. We had a superb time and I know, we will be back.

This was our first time in a motor home and from the moment we arrived at Oulala Anthony & Rich could not have been more helpful. They gave us a full induction and made us feel familiar with our Chausson that we nicknamed Charlie! We had an amazing two weeks touring round and the guys were always at the end of WhatsApp if we needed anything including restaurants. We loved our experience and have already booked for next year and we cannot recommend Oulala highly enough. Thanks so much and look forward to seeing you next year.
